Hey everyone,
More news from our favorite engineering students in Haiti:
* Tap stations are built, just need to complete the final hook-up. * The 3rd cistern has been plastered on the inside * 4th cistern is plastered on the outside * Miguel & Liuan worked on the 5th cistern, wrapping the wire and the reinforcement. So far, that is the best looking cistern! * Second group plans to return to the States with a cylinder of plaster made from the local aggregate/materials for compression testing * Weather today was stormy, but it's just cloudy now with light rolls of thunder (good weather for sleeping) * Left To Do: plaster inside of 4th cistern, plaster outside of 5th, start 6th cistern, seal ALL cisterns, & the hang the 1st Flush systems * The rain may have slowed work down a little today, but it was a welcomed shower for everyone
Until next time!
