Hey All,
A lot of Progress happened today; check it out!
- First Flush system DONE, just need to connect it to the gutter system.
- The gutters on the church are finished, and they expect to get the ones on the rectory done tomorrow.
- They held a class on the function of the first flush system, and also on the construction of the cisterns themselves for the locals (and invited them to come watch and/or help with the construction of some of the final molds & such).
- Today was Sunday, so many of the people who came to church also picked up their filters.
- They completed one more of the molds, and plan to empty 2 more tomorrow and begin the plastering of the insides.
- Also, they plan to start 2 more molds tomorrow.
- Derek Raw & James DeMarco hitched rides with some young villagers on their motorcycles (fyi: motorcycles are also known as half-cars) to Belle Anse to procure more water for the plaster. They expect 300-400 gal. to be delivered around noon tomorrow.
- Digging for the tap stations is complete and they will be ready to pour it tomorrow thanks to some hard work on behalf of some of the locals who helped them dig.
Ok, that's what I've got. If things keep going according to plan, it looks like this project will be a success!
Best,
Andrew
