President

Asaph Mauck

Asaph Mauck is pursuing bachelor of science degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering and plans to graduate in 2011. Asaph is committed to utilizing his talents to contribute to significant and sustainable positive changes in the local community as well as in communities throughout the world. As President, he plans to facilitate a period of substantial organizational growth and professional development thereby enabling the success of crucial project goals.


Vice President - External

Andrew Ivey

Since transferring to UCF in 2008 from USF and pursuing a bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Andrew Ivey has dedicated his time and efforts to making an immediate but sustainable difference in his community and in the EWB project community of Mare Brignol, Haiti.


Vice President - Internal

Jerry Arne

Jerry Arne is a Computer Engineering major and will graduate in 2012. Jerry joined Engineers without Borders as a continuation of his volunteer experience prior to college and as means to help those in need. He also a Resident Assistant and upon graduation wishes to use his skills in software and hardware design to innovate and help facilitate the growth of affordable, and helpful technology in under privileged areas.


Treasurer

Anna Pepper

Anna Pepper will complete her bachelors of science in civil engineering May 2010. Improving the lives of families in developing nations through infrastructure projects is her ultimate goal. She hopes to serve her country in the Peace Corps after obtaining her license as a professional engineer. Working with CGIU and Engineers Without Borders until and beyond graduation will prepare her for making a significant, positive contribution to the lives of those who need and want better circumstances around the world.


Secretary

Katherine Moore

Katherine Moore will complete her bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering in December 2010. With great passion for helping those in need and experience with Engineers Without Borders, she will be able to lead effective teams in assisting less-fortunate people, governments, and countries around the world with achieving and maintaining healthier environments, a higher literacy and employment rate, and a general higher quality of life. Other goals include pursuing and attaining a Doctorate Degree in an engineering or related field and one day teaching at a University to share her knowledge and experiences with others.


Project Manager - Mare Brignol

James Crawford

James Crawford is pursuing his bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering and will graduate in 2010. His humanitarian experiences include a six month placement as a volunteer mathematics teacher in Kifaru, Tanzania. His goal is to help raise money for EWB UCF and eventually return to Africa to help the people attain clean drinking water.

Committee Chairpersons

Committee Chairpersons are selected by the Officers and serve as long as mutually desired. Committee meetings take place every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in the third floor of the Student Union in the center of the UCF Campus.
